3/11/2011: Feb. 23 marked SMC's transfer of satellite control authority of the Space Based Space Surveillance (SBSS) system to the 1st Space
Operations Squadron, signaling the start of the satellite's operational duty. PDS was heavily involved with the system
analysis during on orbit testing and characterization. PDS is actively involved with supporting lead integrator, Boeing.
8/16/2010: PDS placed 7th in the Pacific Business News fastest 50 growing businesses in Hawaii in 2009. CEO Wes Freiwald attributes PDS’s success with having true subject
matter experts and a world class staff that have passion for their work. Wes states, "We've been both tactical and
strategic, and have been blessed with great timing and a little bit of luck."
10/23/2009: PDS was selected as the winner of the Mayor's Small Business Awards in the category of a small business with 11 to 50 employees.
06/11/2009: To accommodate growth in staff
